The ‘Little-Beez Playskool’ Childcare Center was founded in 2000 under the name ‘NORTHEAST CDC-MAPSS CHILD CARE CENTER’. During the establishment, this effort was carried out jointly with the Northeast Community Development Council.

As a new player in this arena, the establishment of the Singapore Central Council at that time certainly needed guidance from the more experienced.

Why can MPS as a non-profit body be awarded this business?

The answer is to enable the MPS to be independent.

In 2008, management was fully handed over to the Central Council and managed by MAPSS Enterprise, a company established by MPS

From 2009 to mid-2020, Majlis Pusat Singapura has sourced out vendors to manage the Child Care Centre.

As of July 2020, the management of the centre was fully placed under Majlis Pusat. As of  October 2020, the centre Management Committee was formed and manages the centre fully.

The Child Care Centre has a full capacity of 100 children from Infant to Kindergarten with a staff strength of 25.

Majlis Pusat Singappura hopes to go a step further to manage a new centre with a special curriculum that caters for the development of our children with special needs without them straying to far from main stream studies.
